The Lego spaceship pathfinder with a crew of 17 is one of the more complete custom lego space creations I have seen recently. Complete with bathrooms and escape pods this old school lego creation is pretty cool.

i would spend money on an adult level lego set. something that cost as much as a ps3 and was at least 90lbs of assorted legos and suggestions of things to build. i miss playing with legos man. and this thing is awesome as hell.

What happens if the ship needs to be abandoned, 14 crew but only 8 spaces on the escape pods? Reminds me of the titantic.
Old school Lego Definition: Lego purists will call this one old school because it uses the standard straight bricks of the past rather than the single use curved molded pieces that pollute many of the newer kits.
Old school - Classic space kit from the past with all normal pieces
Modern - 2007 space kit from the past with crazy “single use” custom pieces, new ugly colors too. Many of the newer parts are only can be put together one way where the old kits were more flexible and could create more things with them.

Wow, I got to say that is one awesome Lego spacecraft and really demonstrates how old school Legos are so much more fun and creative than the new ones. This is making me jones for some Lego time right now , me thinks i will have to break them out and build myself something cool.

Old-skool building toys opened the imagination for the designers of today… The whiners of yesterday, who lacked the imagination of their counterparts, tried to make things easier for people like them with “one use” parts. Bring back the generic, multi-use part. Our future creative spirit needs it!!!
